Gayathri Govind is an Indian Classical dancer, who is trained in Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi, Ottanmthullal, Kathakali, Kathak and Keralanadanam.
She is also a famous anhor who has done anchoring in different programs in medias including Kairali TV, Asianet, Surya TV, Mazhavil Manorama,.

She stepped into the field of dance at the age of 3 and mentions her Father to be her greatest inspiration and support. She spent whole of her childhood, studies and even work life in Trivandrum, Kerala. Then, she went to the University of Florida and completed the course “Healing with the Arts”. At first, she worked as a Software Engineer in HCL Technologies, Chennai and later followed her passion as a full-time profession and became a well-known dancer and dance choreographer. Gayathri’s dance productions are ‘Bhavasamhitha’ and ‘Aadiparasakthi’.

She has performed in different stages in and outside India, especially performed Mohiniyattom and Kuchipudi recitals for the prestigious Soorya Festival in the years 2012 and 2013 and has also done opening performance in different award shows. Gayathri was also a part of the Soorya Production ‘Gaandharam’. She has a dance troupe named “Silver streak” and also runs dance schools-Takadhimi, in both Chennai and Trivandrum.
