A TREASURE HUNT TO REMEMBER- in Lock down Days
OKAY! So here’s a fun activity to do! Let’s have a treasure hunt! Yes! You heard right. A treasure hunt. With your family.
What better way to spend time with one another!
Quarantine got us all locked up at homes, and most people are more than “just” bored these days. Even the ones who prayed to get a sick leave, just to get some time for themselves, are now wishing for a day back at the office. The sites on “How to kill boredom” and “how to make up time” are probably jammed these days. There’s nothing new on the internet, cause you’ve been through it all, and not just once or twice, but a million times. So, who’s up for an adventure? Follow these simple steps, and get ready to have an enjoyable time with your family.
Step 1: Finding precious things.
Do you remember the last time you looked through the old dusty cupboard? When was it? A couple of months from now? Or maybe years ago? Well, whenever it was, now would be the perfect time to go through it, again. What did you get? A long forgotten beautiful ring, by your husband? A photo of your brother? Some cards given by your wife the day you met.? The seashell box your grandmother made for your mother? It could be anything. Gather those things you find to be precious, and let’s make a game out of it.
Step 2: Group them into each boxes

Have Fun time …..in this Lock Down , Yeah……..
A treasure hunt. With your family.
Organizing the valuables into groups based on your family members – mom, dad, husband, wife, son, daughter, any relation you currently have in your home.
Step 3: Make a map of your house
Well! That sounds easy, doesn’t it! But no! Make a complicated map. Find those areas where you could hide those items. Special places around your home, that means special to someone.
Hide that beautiful necklace in the backyard, the same place where your sister’s best friend gifted her. Hide that gifted watch your husband lost long back, under the stack of newspapers. He wouldn’t notice, would he?
Step 4: Make notes and secret letters

Lock down ensures the intense Family bondage
This is the hard part. Make personalized note and letters for each member in the family. Make them relive the moments they’ve lost. Make it emotional, with a pinch of drama.
Step 5: Watch them

Creativity During Lock Down
One might wonder, the one person organizing all this wouldn’t be a part of the game. Don’t worry. You gain something more valuable than all the other players. Watch them. Observe them. Read their expressions as they go through it all. There’s nothing more beautiful than seeing a smile on their faces. You should consider yourself lucky to witness such a cherishing sight.
Step 6: Game Over
Now, it’s pretty clear everyone has a lot to say and express. So don’t miss this opportunity.
By the end of the game, make a bonfire and sit around. Make everyone tell tales of their experience and what each item means to them.
Talking and listening is all that takes to strengthen the bond with your family. Cherish the moments you get, because all we have is now.
