Two Helmets per two wheeler: no free lifts!

With Indian Roads being amongst the most notorious ones in the world, claiming over 15 million lives every year. The government has now made the traffic rules more stringent, bringing in new amendments to the existing traffic rules. In November, fines for breaking various laws were hiked from mere hundreds to thousands and high courts of Kerala, Madras etc have now passed a rule giving strict instruction to not just rider, but also to pillions to wear helmets, with a fine of Rs.500 to the lawbreakers. The rule has come into action from 1st December, 2019. Cops and other officials had started awareness procedures from November. Controversies arise with many supporting the safety rules, and the rest commenting against it, pointing the different practical hardships they face. With hot topics of helmets and fine filling the news medias, The World Women News, would like to remind that over speeding and excess passengers are still among the main reasons for accidents. Along with wearing helmet, we request you to follow the speed limit rules and passenger rules, were pillion are limited to not more than one, in two-wheeler rides.
