Sacred Games, Lust stories and actress Radhika Apte nominated for International Emmy awards in their respective categories.

This year’s International Emmy awards comes out with some great news’s for the Indian entertainment. As the nominees were announced on Thursday, India’s original Sacred Games found its position amongst the nominees in the drama series category. Lust stories has been nominated in the movie/mini-series category and Indian actress Radhika Apte, for her role in the same has been nominated for the best performance by an actress. Amazon prime’s Remix India has also been nominated from India for the category of non-scripted entertainment.

Released on, 6th July 2018, “Sacred Games” is a crime thriller based on an eponymous novel by Vikram Chandra, with stars Saif Ali Khan and Nawazudin Siddique portraying two vital roles in the series. An anthology of four short films by four directors, Zoya Akthar, Dibakar Banarjee, Anurag Kashyap and Karan Johar gave rise to “Lust stories”, and Radhika Apte portrays the role of Kalindi in the same. Remix is a reality show in which different musicians compete each other by remixing Bollywood songs and they are judged by singer Sunidhi Chauhan, singer-composer Amit Trivedi, Musician Nucleya.

Lust Stories
Sacred games is competing with bad banks, McMafia and 1 contra Todos from Germany, UK and Brazil respectively. Lust stories has been nominated alongside Se Eu Fechar Os Olhos Agora, Safe Harbour and Trezor from Brazil, Australia and Hungary respectively. Radhika Apte stands alongside of Jenna Colemann for the Cry (UK), Majorie Estiano for Sob Presaao season 2 (Brazil), Marena Gera for Orok Tel (Hungary) and Remix will be competing with La Voce from Argentina, Taboo, Belgium and The Real Full Monty: Ladies Night from UK.
